The obvious course of action is to wait.

If it has still not appeared after a couple of weeks I would make a formal complaint.

Bear in mind you are dealing with a Government department.

The worst case scenario is that either your bank or NS&I have lost your money down a black hole and it will take some time for the guilty party to refund you with interest. But this was a 3 year bond so presumably you don't need the money to buy bread next week.
