All coming together so well for you! Enjoy your holiday in Tenerife, always nice to get some late holiday sunshine before the winter sets in here in the UK. Lovely day here in Scotland, just enjoying some sunshine with a coffee in the garden.......😎2

Thank you @L9XSS. I love sitting in the sun in the garden!
So, toad in the hole in the airfryer was edible but a bit undercooked. Then I noticed I had used self-raising flour instead of plain flour so maybe that was the reason and not my diabolical cooking!! 🤣🤦🏻♀️Mortgage balance as of 21.7.21 - £75,766. Ah well the secret is to get rid of all the self raising & only buy plain which you can convert to SR. I've re-written all my recipes so it takes that into account. And yes I still need to refer to recipes for things I have made almost every week for 50 years, somehow they just don't stick!ETA Nigella Lawson2

I think that's what I need to do @badmemory!
Tonight going into the airfryer is chicken thighs which have been marinated. Need to try not to overcook them.
I still have some rolls left in second ff in garage so have made space and moved them into the ff in the kitchen ready to switch off second ff on Friday. Need to do a meter reading late Friday night. We have friends over so will make a note to do it when they go and submit on the app.Mortgage balance as of 21.7.21 - £75,766. BG has said I can submit end of month readings up until mid Oct - why do I not trust them?? I plan on submitting on 28th then try again on 30th because last time it was crashed all day. I wish I wasn't so honest, if I wasn't I'd be submitting very high ones at the end of Sept. Trouble is I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. Still I think it pays to be good.I was shopping this afternoon & had bought 2 rather (for me) heavy bottles. The person on the till that I see most weeks said to give her a sec & she'd lift them into the trolley for me. The guy behind me at the till said no you stay there I'll get it. So I got out to the car & he is behind me as his car was just a bit further on, so he came over and said allow me. You have no idea how glad I was but I must have looked absolutely rubbish. I had a covid jab on sunday & like every other time my arm is very sore & burning hot. It makes you realise that there really are some nice people in the world (& not just on here).3

Glad you had your faith in human nature restored.

Somertimes all we need is that odd kick that all you need is a helping hand. I'm very lucky I don't need a financial helping hand. I really hate asking my DS to come shopping with me with his problems but it is becoming more likely in the future, which I really really do not like.
