Last op of £999 sent to the mortgage account until the end of September. I can only op another £847 until I reach my 10% allowance. I would like to get that paid by the end of the year.

The btl went on the market/Rightmove yesterday and we already have a viewing for Saturday. The tenant moves out on the 5/9 but he's paying until the 18/9 as that's the end of his four week notice period. I'm hoping it will sell quickly so funds can go towards paying off our mortgage then I can concentrate on paying off my car loan.

Two viewings on the BTL on Saturday with the possiblity of a third viewing - just waiting for confirmation.

I have sold  five different properties over the years and they have all sold in under 7 days and I'm hoping this one does too. There are three identical houses for sale on the same development all for 5k, 7.5k and 10k more than ours so ours is priced to sell. Fingers crossed 🤞

Three viewings on the BTL on Saturday and an offer of just under 5k of asking price which came from an investor who has not yet been financially qualified so may just wait and see what her situation is. May hold out for a tiny bit more. Will give it a day or so and see but a good start.

  • Amazing OP's! How incredible to nearly be at the 10% limit. Oh best of luck selling the BTL!

Great news on the potential offer. I think you said that you'd already put it on at a decent price cut so I'd be wary of accepting too low an offer. I can understand you just wanting the bird in the hand though
