  • What the hell is that logo?
  • There are threads on the forum about dodgy court forms. Have you checked the logos with the court? The right-hand stamp should have the word Northampton on it. Am I right? Am I straw clutching?

That is unequivocally a formal court claim form. This is all done electronically with the Claimant (their solicitor in most cases) just filling the details in online - there is no human involvement at the Northampton CCBC, the distribution centre for MCOL claims. The fact that the DCB Legal input is woeful and unprofessional does not allow anyone to be complacent about the claim. It is real, it is live, and it must be dealt with.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    3) seems far too long to me , most of it should be saved for your witness statement plus exhibits stage in several months time , because it's an excellent witness statement , but a defence should be concise , to the point , having the points in place that are expanded upon in your WS

    2) should say keeper and driver , losing the second sentence ( we tell people this on a daily basis , keep it concise , don't use 2 separate sentences when one will suffice )
  • Hi
So i blabbed to much …lol sorry
My English is not my strong part. How can i condense it ? what to get rid off?
I think i can like you say turn this to simpler looking and pointed message - at least first two paragraphs
How do i condense third paragraph i don't know - let me re think this ang i will be back with V2.0
    My best regards

Condense it down to show only the important parts - disabled badge, disabled customer of the Range, poor signage, poor road markings etc and keep the (excellent) rest of it as per @Redx's comments for the witness statement stage.  Just make sure the defence refutes the points made in the POC (Particulars of Claim).

  • Hi Le_Kirk!
    Thank you that helped allot.
I will apply this - i always struggle with making things short.
    Best regards
