Easy Ticketing event cancellation - how can I get a refund?

Hi,
Can anyone help please, I have made 2 purchases 1 for Craig David and 1 For 80's in the park last March for 2021-these were then cancelled and rescheduled for June 2022. I paid via paypal. Paypal will not help as it is outside 180 days now and said to go back to the Merchant!!. Easy Ticketing or Simple Ticketing just sent an email explaining they were no longer trading, which you cannot respond to, the phone number just ends the call without connecting. This is £200, surely there must be a way we can get our money back??1 -

bought 6 tickets for Craig David concert last year through Easy Ticketing and paid via PayPal. The event was rescheduled to June this year due to Covid. Received an email today from Easy Ticketing saying they have had to cancel all events. Looks like they have gone into administration. The email said to contact PayPal for refund but PayPal have refused my claim as over 180 days since transaction. Any idea how I can get a refund? There must be lots of people in the same boat as me?0 -

Apparently the company behind Easy Ticketing - Simple Ticketing is NOT in insolvency. Therefore I assume we can still claim on them direct ?1

I have lost £205 for 2 tickets. I was just looking and noticed that simple ticketing and m&b promotions are both still active on companies House. So how do we go about getting our money back directly from them? Neither my credit card nor PayPal will get involved due being purchased back on 4 Aug 20200

I too have been told by bank that there is nothing that can be done because it is outside of their 500+ days... but surely these are unprecedented times with events being cancelled due to covid restrictions, something which is beyond any normal promoter's control... the govt imposed restrictions impacted on events being able to take place.... tickets would not ordinarily be available 18months in advance for such a situation to occur...and so Banks should/could apply leniency or good will for their customers, just as Paypal are offering to do.0
