Q: Would it be wrong for me if i do not contact the claimant for their witness statement before/after the deadline? As the County ordered both parties to send each other the WS and to the court.0 -

As the County ordered both parties to send each other the WS and to the court. The C is required to send you a copy of their WS (as you are to them). Don't expect it before the deadline, neither should you be sending them yours much before the deadline. Why would you be contacting them for their WS? Are you anticipating not receiving it?
If you don't receive it, you make a complaint to the court about its non-delivery.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well their solicitor contacted me via email and said they have attached the WS in the email, however nothing was attached.
So I do not know whether i should reply or wait until the hearing date.0 -
Then just reply to that email stating it wasn't attached.Mrscompliant said:The C is required to send you a copy of their WS (as you are to them). I have taken the liberty of collating all these reference cases in a dropbox as it is getting increasingly difficult to find everything due to the ever-increasing number of posts and threads on this forum and the woefully inept search function.Mrscompliant said:Where can i find as pdf or image to include in my WS:- Excel Parking Services v Lamoureux C3DP56Q5
