Missing mouse drivers windows 7

Hello, i have a Sony Vaio , I haven't used it for a while, it turns on, but the mouse cursor is stuck in the middle, I managed to get into device manager and there is no mouse driver? No idea how this has happened, how can i install the driver if i can't click anything, ive tried everything suggested on Google, its driving me mad, can anyone help me please?

Do you mean that you can't use the touchpad to move the cursor?  What happens if plug a USB mouse into the computer?  Does that work?  It should.

Or is the touchpad switched off? It will be a fn+f?? I.e. fn key + the key that has a symbol like a finger , not sure on vaios

Yes, exactly this  i haven't got a USB mouse to try it, thanks

Ive tried all the keys with fn, and no symbol on the keys, thanks

if you have an android phone you could perhaps use it as a Bluetooth mouse, never tried but found this https://www.howtogeek.com/714170/how-to-use-your-android-phone-as-a-bluetooth-mouse-or-keyboard/

Not necessarily, but using device using tab keys is a forgotten art, but it is possible

Buy a mouse.  They are cheap and useful to have around.

Hi,

hit the Windows key, then Tab, then use the up/down/sideways keys to get to settings/control panel.
