New Android phone?

It's not easy. If you want to stay with Three then buy your handset from Three, making sure that the model appears on Three's own list of phones that do wi-fi calling. I'm not sure if it is possible in these changed times but I would like to think that you could ask to see it working in one of Three's stores.
Because examples of the same model of phone may have been configured for a particular retailer/market (not just for wi-fi calling but other configuration tweaks and bloatware) there cannot be a definitive list of "this phone works with this network". From what little research I've done (mainly trawling networks' community support forums), anecdotally Moto handsets, if they have wi-fi calling, seem to work more often than not. Certainly my own Moto G 5g Plus (nice phone btw) worked with Three, iD, Vodafone, Asda & 1p.1 -
Does anyone have any thoughts on the Moto G 10?

Here's a link to phones with WiFi calling capability on Three

Only a couple of Moto phones are mentioned.
My Galaxy S10 works extremely well with Three wifi calling. I didn't buy the phone from Three but it connected instantly when I inserted the Three SIM.
Hope this helps.2 -
I would hope your S10 did work, it's on that list 4 times!Neil49 said:Here's a link to phones with WiFi calling capability on Three

My Moto G 5g Plus working fine via wi-fi calling w/ 3 Data Reward sim onboard (not on list, natch).2 -
I have not used one, but moving from a G7 (which is what you said you have currently, and so happens to be what I have currently), the G10 would be my default next phone if I was changing now unless I could get a good deal for a run-out G9 (my wife got one G9 before Christmas for under £100 but they seem to be gone now).J_B said:Does anyone have any thoughts on the Moto G 10?2 -

But, then I read this review https://www.pocket-lint.com/phones/reviews/motorola/155990-moto-g10-review that said g30 was better value ....Grumpy_chap said:

Most of the 'supported handsets' lists on the network sites are either not exhaustive or simply out of date which isn't the highest amount of helpful I agree.J_B said:

Just for example my current phone (Poco X3 Pro) happily does 4G calling and WiFi calling on Three and EE, WiFi calling alone on Vodafone, nada on Sky Mobile and no idea on O2 (need a contract sim to test it on there) but is on none of the respective provider lists. Similar with my previous handset (Realme 6) except no WiFi calling on Vodafone.
Personally though, I've found that if the handset was: a) made within the last few years, and b) a predecessor is listed as supported by a network, then it should be OK for WiFi calling. Sadly though, EE/1p aside, you're probably not going to know for sure until you try using it.

I would avoid this Samsung from the three list:S.Samsung:Do Not Use0

The performance of some mobile operators in having and keeping a list of phones which can deal with wifi calling is, in many cases, pathetic. One example is BT mobile who haven't updated their list since April 2018! They play games of "We can't guarantee it will work unless you bought the phone from us" And, of course, they are the ones who create the need by not investing sufficiently in their network to provide a decent signal.2
