  • Recovery from covid has actually been okay. Shattered this week but that's just because work was crazy so ended up staying and doing a ridiculous number of hours- not so easy to bounce back from.
    YNAB updated this worning, just need to fill up the car and do the grocery shop to get final figures for the month and hopefully add a little more to the savings total. Another £24 odd would get me to the next round number on the mortage and should be doable as long as I'm not silly in Tescos...

  • Was well behaved in Tesco so mortgage is now sat at a round number of 116k. Overpayment for April is £394.21
    Savings total for April is £1469.27 so still on track despite the spendy start to April :)

    We'll need to remortgage in January so I want to try to pay things down as our interest rate will rise. On the plus side the overpayments mean we're less than £100 in interest this month for the first time. It won't last but it feels like another milestone :)

    Finance wise its a mixed day today. On the plus side I won £50 on the premium bonds! On the downside, the car needs new brake pads so a bit more than I'd budgeted for the service.
    I'm also trying vinted for the first time. I have a works event with an evening do later this month so have ordered a jumpsuit at £10 rather than buying new.

    Less than £100 in interest sounds like a dream!

    Vinted definitely seems like a good source of secondhand clothes, judging by the constant stream of parcels my colleagues get. The only real source of letdown seems to be Evri deliveries.
