Vodafone won't end my contact but my internet has never worked properly.

I have been with Vodafone for broadband for about 14 months. My internet drops out constantly and they deny it. I had my 4th BT engineer here yesterday who confirmed no fault on the line. He rang Vodafone in from of me on speakerphone and told them how often it dropped out and gave them times and days. He also told them he could see the internet dropping with his own eyes and they told him he was wrong. I've spent hours opening complaints and they won't let me out of the contract. I've been told it's normal to get wifi in only one room,  that the fault is the layout of my house even though at times is in accessible in the rest of my house and  no neighbours in joining houses have this issue, I've had conversation recorded incorrectly, been told BT engineers have not included information in reports that they have, just lied to over and over.
I have opened complaints, they fob me off and tell me why internet is not dropping out. I'm losing the will to live. I've been shouted at by them, lied to and told me I am wrong. I don't know how to get out of it. If anyone has any advice I would be so grateful. I just want to move to another company. They have opened yet another complaint but still tell me I am wrong. It's just stalled for 10 days and then lied to again.
Thanks in advance.

How long have you been living in your home? Did you have a different broadband provider before Vodafone, and did you have any problems with them?
Which Vodafone router do you have?

Is your internet connection dropping, ie between your router and the exchange/cabinet, or is your wifi dropping, ie between the wireless device and the router? To determine which it is, you need to be using device that is wired to the router and see if you get the same issue

I've been living here for about 14 months and had Vodafone put in broadband from then as I have a mobile with them already. I've asked neighbours and they don't have an issue with their broadband but my internet light is constantly going to red and dropping out but they deny it.

The BT engineer plugged his device into the router and it showed the drops. The internet connection drops and cuts off then reboots constantly. Vodafone deny this but the BT engineer was able to quote off his device how often this happened and when but Vodafone told him he was wrong and didn't record the information.

Sorry forgot to say, Vodafone say I have the most up to date router. Apparently the only way I can get my internet to work is to upgrade with them.

Yes thats the one. They say its the most up to date. I did get it replaced at one point as Vodafone kept saying it wasn't the router but its still happening. BT have checked the line many times too.

Can you be absolutely clear - is it the wifi internet connection that is dropping out or are you still having dropouts when you connect to the router by cable.

you said the bt engineer confirmed no fault on the line but could see it dropping out in front of him?
