I have finally got my Sort Code and Account number for JN Bank at 4.75% for a 1 year fix.  I have until 1st November to fund it.  Anyone have any experience of dealing with them?
I'm not overly impressed with their Reviews although these seem to be from disgruntled customers with loans.
I don't have any personal experience with them myself, I'm afraid. Just to note that it's 4.75% for a two-year fix, not a one-year fix.

It was likely 1 yr when they applied for it.
Oops - I got DF Capital and JN Bank mixed up - my mistake !
  • Yes it is definitely a 1 year fix!
The PM has just resigned so I guess inflation will carry on and soon we may be offered some even better deals?  Meanwhile I will put some money in to JN Bank today.

The PM, useless as she was, has very little to do with inflation.

Df Capital are now offering 4.60% for a one-year fix.

£1000+, a 14 day funding window and interest is paid on maturity (no monthly option).

Have attempted to open this online three times today and just get error messages and told to ring, not a good sign.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

Received my 1k back from Dudley bldg society, sent another large payment this afternoon, which was confirmed by them as received over the phone. Pleased with their customer service.
  • I'm not sure this is the correct thread (please let me know if not, create a new thread?).

Family BS has replaced Issue 11 (BoE rate + 0.85%) with Issue 12 (BoE rate + 0%) of their 2 Year Tracker Rate Bond
    https://www.familybuildingsociety.co.uk/savings/compare-savings-accounts/product-detail/2-year-tracker-rate-bond-(12)

Does anyone know where I can search specifically for these savings tracker products? They appear to be mixed in with the other fixed rate offerings on Moneyfacts and Savings Champion.

I think these are pretty rare so there probably isn't enough of them to warrant a separate section.

Would anyone want to tie themslves into an account currently offering 2.25% for two years with no withdrawals or closure allowed, when you can get up to 2.80% in easy access ? While the bond may rise with the base rate, so (to a certain extent) will easy access accounts.

You can also currently get 4.77% fixed for two years so it's hard to see this tracker bond ever being the better option.

Perhaps the Atom 6 month 3.55%/3.49% is an option for maturing Shawbrook 6 month fixes

Even the gov and deputy gov of BOE giving mixed messages of how high interest rates are going to top out.  Everyone just guessing at this stage.
