Ah, OK - yes, that's probably just a mistake. While some savings comparison sites seem to get advance notice of certain account rate increases, I've not known MSE to be one of them.0

I was wrong !Later in the day, I tried logging in several times but it came back with error '2FA security failed, contact us...", Rang them and they said keep trying.Tried this morning and same errorAnyone has this issue ?Will ring them today and request my 1k deposit back, not sure if the t&c allows it.
I don't think there is a cooling off period, on their T&C it says:
Please note: This right of cancellation does not apply to (i) fixed Interest rate Accounts (other than to a Fixed Rate Cash ISA)
managed to login now, finally, this morning they said they would return the deposit of 1k back to me and I can then send another payment. I will wait for my deposit to come back and then will decide.

I have finally got my Sort Code and Account number for JN Bank at 4.75% for a 1 year fix. I have until 1st November to fund it. Anyone have any experience of dealing with them?
I'm not overly impressed with their Reviews although these seem to be from disgruntled customers with loans.0 -

I wouldn't worry too much about reviews - most banks get poor reviews on places like Trustpilot as people are much more likely to complain than praise. At least with a fixed rate account you should have very few dealings with them !0 -
