Notice Kent Reliance now have some of the top rates, don't Charter usually have the same rates as their sister bank?  Not seeing Charter with any fixed rate products at all though yet still.

Sister?? Charter and Kent Relliance share FSCS protection limit by any chance??
They don't, according to the FSCS checker.

Yep confirmed. I asked this before of both Charter and KR - I had accounts with both pre-merger. They merged, and prior to the merger they obviously had separate FSCS registration/protection. They opted to keep separate 'enough' and therefore keep both protections ringfenced.

It is possible this will change at some point in the future, but would think there would need to be sufficient notice and would be harsh in the unlikely event they did go under for someone who had say 5yr fixed bonds with both >85k to lose out, would like to think FSCS would treat all products entered into before this was known, but who knows? Put it this way I wouldn't worry for anything up to 1yr, but if I was thinking about 2 3 4 5yr products taking my exposure to both >> 85k I might choose someone else for the sake of 0.1%.

Atom Bank also 4.35% for a 1 year fixed bond paid monthly or at maturity...I already have an account with Atom Bank so I guess it will easier just to open a fixed rate bond with them, rather then apply for the TSB one?

I want the interest paid monthly to my nominated account btw

Also, anyone know how long the funding window is with Atom Bank as I believe you can open it with £50

If you already have an account with Atom, then you should be able to open the account pretty-much instantly I would have thought.

The minimum initial deposit was £50 and the deposit window was 7 days for my last Atom Fixed Saver, but I would check the 'summary box' for the latest accounts to confirm that this is still the case.

    Thanks for this.
Looks like these are over a longer term than previously stated though - 26 months and 38 months respectively.

Charter showing the wrong rate when logging in to the site is not unusual (and has been discussed previously in the thread) - I wouldn't worry about it (it happened with me months ago)... they usually fix it within a day or two (and backdate the interest to the correct rate).
I've got an deposit showing but can't find an interest rate showing anywhere. Where does it show please? I've been across all the tabs. Like others, not keen on further deposits until I see the rate.
    Cheers.
As above: can anyone elaborate on where you can find the interest rate for a (funded) Charter account?

That would be highly unusual. With a Fixed rate/Fixed term account, ALL the T&Cs usually apply for the whole term.
You could, though, split your deposit and open 2 accounts. Opt for monthly interest on one, and annual interest on the other, which would achieve approx the same result

it should be on the opening "Accounts Summary" page...
... but if you've only just made your first funding deposit, then the interest rate might not show for a day (or two), and it might be inaccurate.
