Ha!!! Me and me little boys have nothing worry about. And it's the women that will be taking you down Sir :rotfl:

Your setting yourself up for a lovely trip :D

Considering you have continued to climb your high horse, would you now like a helping hand getting back down!? :D

Sorry for the delay buddy, I've never doubted my ability but in the space of a 10minute phone call I've just achieved a most remarkable feat.

I've no objction to the women taking me down whatsoever, but I'll give the Internet Dating a miss.

Referring to me as Sir will do just fine, and you've just confirmed that there is you and group of "little boys".

I'll stay at my level; its infinitely more panoramic than yours.:D :D

I left long before it was pulled, again if it was the thread i think your refering to, so i hope your not refering to me as that would only make you look bad

Oh come on!! If I left a load of abuse here, right now, would it be puled instantly? No!

What a pity that she did not post her story on this forum, Oggyio. She would have received some excellent advice and, above all, sympathetic support.

I agree, but it was over 3 years ago now and I wasn't on MSE either myself at the time.

It is nice to be able to sit and glean help and information on here. The back biting is uncalled for, there is nothing wrong with a bit of friendly banter in the right context of things, but sometimes I have seen comments that are malicious and uncalled for.
I am sure that people will agree that those who genuinely have resorted to bankrupcy as a final solution, it is a massive step to take and should be supported / guided where possible.
The minority who have decided to live life on their credit cards and have lavish lifestyles beyond their means, I personally don't have as much time for

At the end of the day, everybody is different, we all have different morals and standards. A basic financial grounding should be to save something where ever possible and not to just ' pop it on the plastic'.

Thank you Oggyoi (I spelt it right that time  ) for those kind, and wise, words. :T :T

Slightly intrigued as to how Gd v Richard_S will pan out.

Thing is though guys - is it worth it? Why not both just step away eh?

Oh no, don't get me wrong Richard. I was simply referring to your point on little boys so that you may understand. I fear that if I do use a different analogy of something, I may lose the thought path or worse, confuse you. It seems rather to easy, as pointed out with the loans thing earlier, when you also got so excited. So I feel it's easier to use your own terminology to keep the conversation going :)

I do feel a little harsh in responding though, as you did look so excited just then at the thought of winning something, but alas it has to be done. :D
