Plugged my smart meter monitor in yesterday, just out of interest to cooking 4 hrs on dehydrate in my ninja, seemed reasonable.
I have always turned my t.v. off on the set, but left everything else, I have a power block with lap top plugged in 2 chargers and my magnifying mirror, in my bedroom I have the chargers again, when my meter was displaying it was usually about 48p first thing, covers all things that run 24/7 too, I have started turning off the power block when going to bed, and turning off the socket where my chargers are connected, in my bedroom as my phone and kindle charge while watching t.v. in bed, this morning my meter was reading 26p.Do I need it or just want it.2 -

There isn't one. All of them are much of a muchness. We came off fix at the start of February, we were in credit (still are) but they've just increased our DD from £102 to £179 from May, despite my MSE reducing our consumption pretty drastically. Our DD was £92 for most of last year, so we're nearing double that now.
