I think everyone going online to put in their pre-increase meter readings has broken the system!  Just tried to log on to Shell to check a couple of things (I'm on a smart meter so not unduly worried about my readings) and couldn't log on, although I tried 2 or 4 times.  Never had a problem before!
I'm with Shell - I got there in the end but i had to try about 10 times first.

Just had an email from my provider saying if you have a smart meter, or on a fixed tariff, you don't need to put your meter reading in...

With an hour and twenty minutes to go - who else is charging their phone, toothbrush, electric drill, camera, hair clippers etc before it gets more expensive?!

Out of stock at the moment, but I’m thinking of investing in a Splooshi for hand washing small and delicate items.

Is that the same thing as a Scrubba? I've found two of those (one small, one large) on Amaz&n and wondered about trying them for those 'little wash loads'.

(I’ve also seen a lady use a salad spinner to spin her smalls).

The best way I've found to get excess water out of handwashed items is to wrap them in a towel and jump up and down on them!
