Hi I’ve just moved to a one bed house (previously lived with parents). I’ve spoke to a few people about the cost of my bill but not sure if it is a lot for a one bed place. The house is all electrical have put timers on the emersion heaters and the first half of the month was using the radiant ceiling heating. My first bills come in at averaging over £6.50 a day does this sound right? The estimate usage is 130 a month. Any help would much be appreciated.

It would be more helpful if you could read your meter and give us the actual kWh used, monetary amounts depend entirely on your tariff, so not much help when looking at energy use.

Please get used to talking in terms of KWh and not £.

All electric  and radiant ceiling panels   = expensive.

Are you reading the meters and giving them to your supplier ?   I assume that when you moved in you contacted the existing supplier and gave them opening reads.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

£6.50 is really good. Our house is all electrical heaters but its a grade 2 listed cottage so not very efficient. We are using typically £20-£25 on cold days

I would suggest using nearly 25 units a day in an all-electric one bedroom house in winter is probably a touch on the high side.

I live in a three bedroomed 3 storey house, all electric, I work from home, and my average in the last 21 days is 22 units per day.

You did ask the same question  acouple of weeks ago:
25 units a day doesn't sound too bad to me, TBH. Yes it could be lower but there are other people on the forum using more for similarly-sized properties (obv. not emmajones1976!).

I live in a 1 bed all electric property, and use around 350 kwh a month during the winter.

I would be mortified if i got the bills that somw
    E people  have to pay

How much do you pay a month electric if you don’t mind me asking?

350kWh should cost around £75, assuming a sane tariff.
