Yeh, drop them a DM on twitter and they'll get that sorted overnightMouldyOldDough said:MWT said:MouldyOldDough said:Once again my bright app is showing the wrong tariffGas is now 7.48p / kWhElectricity @ 28.45p /kWhBright still have it down at 4.127 and 20.486
This is almost 2 weeks since the price riseThe Bright app can only show you what is loaded on the meter. When the meter is updated, Bright will get the new tariff information. Its been two weeks so far - with no sign of an updateIs this down to Octopus then ?0 -
Yes, this is an Octopus problem. IHDs/CADs and Apps access the data from your meters. For this to be correct, the supplier has to update tariff information in the ESME and GSME (the meters) as and when tariffs change.MouldyOldDough said:MWT said:MouldyOldDough said:Once again my bright app is showing the wrong tariffGas is now 7.48p / kWhElectricity @ 28.45p /kWhBright still have it down at 4.127 and 20.486

Email smart@octopus.energy and ask them to send out an update.0 -
Yes, with any of the smart meters, the supplier is responsible for updating the tariff on the meter, Bright or n3rgy can only read what is on the meter.

I emailed octopus a week ago & nothing has been updated yet!
Do I have to run the display unit to get the system to update?
It's been in a drawer for six months
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0 -
The IHD is nothing more than a remote reader. It connects to a secure wifi network established by your communications hub. The IHD will only ‘see’ the tariff information that has been sent to your meters by the supplier via the DCC Network.MouldyOldDough said:I emailed octopus a week ago & nothing has been updated yet!

I also use an App titled OCTOPUS WATCH which retrieves data and tariff information from my Octopus Account via an API: that is, it has nothing to do with your meters. It shows my daily costs for electricity.0 -
Still no update to tariffs on bright app
Anyone else in the same boat?

The Bright app will not get a tariff update unless your meter receives an update from Octopus, it is a problem to resolve with Octopus, not Bright...MouldyOldDough said:Still no update to tariffs on bright app

I have emailed Octopus who tell me that they've updated the tariffs but this hasn't affected Bright (it's still showing incorrect figures) I was just wondering whether anyone else has the same problem?MWT said:
