I agree @Coupon-mad has been busy - helping individuals such as me.
No, I've been a lot busier than that!

If you read the thread started by bargepole about the new Code, I finally told everyone I was on the Steering Group helping to shape the Code itself.

In 18 months I never missed a meeting.  Can't talk about the work or others on the panel of course, but I was the only consumer individual contributor and it was because of my 'work' for over a decade here on this forum, that I was appointed.

Very grateful that someone thought outside the box and that 'one of us' was included to bring the knowledge of this forum and the grass roots consumer voice to be heard.

That is so funny, I am literally just sat reading trough that thread, (trying to educate myself a little more) - mind blown now!

But wow, Fantastic! - I, like so many motorist and just decent people out there - THANK YOU! And also thank the members that I assume had a part too (won’t try to list them in case I miss anybody out) they will know who they are and the part they have played I’m sure.

Totally agree you have been far busier than just assisting PCN victims like myself until the early hours.

Any suggestion from you as to where @bargepole paragraph would best sit. After all it is your template. Does it deserve a new paragraph or better suited to tag on to another?

Thanks for checking… yes I did. Forgot to mention that.
  • Hello all,

Thought I’d update my particular case.

I received dcbl’s DQ and attempt to settle - IGNORED IT.

Received CCBC DQ, completed as per the link from newbies thread.

Now I want to email both the CCBC and dcbl.

Do I use the same email address for CCBC as I did with the defence?

    Thanks

Am I so relieved to share this today…
I was so close to paying the settlement offer made to me of £160 to just get rid and be done. But I didn’t, I thought about everyone that helped me at the start of all this and realised it’s about the principle of the matter. This morning I received an email containing an N279. Thank you for all the advice and guidance! Another success for the PCN Challenge team!
