Slow posting posts

Over the last few days whenever I've tried to add a post to a thread there's been a very long delay, 10-15 seconds between clicking post and and the post being posted.

Linux Mint and Firefox if relevant.

I've also noticed that the forum hasn't been the speediest lately, but I put that down to my work network connection. (Even though I'm working from home, my work laptop routes connections via the company network - even when not connected to VPN).

It's the same with chrome via WiFi or my mobile data.

It just took 45 seconds to post a reply on a thread. I can edit a post in a few seconds so highly unlikely to be a connection or an issue with my connection or software.

This post took about two seconds to post so clearly an intermittent problem.

Also has anyone noticed if it is really slow when moving between comments? At one time it was instant but know I am waiting about 15 seconds for each topic to download.
