That phone number in my earlier post, together with an email address, is on Middlebrook's website...

    On their FAQs it says...

Looks like they really want to hear from you.

What exactly is the pcn for ?
From reading the OP's earlier thread, which I suspect this is a continuation of, it was for parking in a disabled bay.

@ATK86, you have already been asked, but didn't answer... is this a further development of your earlier thread?

Thanks for the responses. Yes it's for parking in a disabled bay that I didn't have a badge for.

Some things that I've noticed which are UNTRUE and WRONG on this letter are:

    1) There in not any debt! Its not a "debt" until a court judge deems it to be.

    2) They have said they have taken on "your debt" - you have no debt - unpaid parking charges aren't classed as debts!  See point 1.

    3) If they were actually instructed to take on a "debt" there where is there "Notice of transfer" regarding the "debt".  Ask them for this on your SAR (or create a further SAR to request the whereabouts of this). This would have to come from the PPC -not ZZPS (as explained in Step 5).

    4) The disputed parking charge invoice was for £100 and they increased the fee up to £170. This is DOUBLE RECOVERY. When a debt is taken on it is taken on at Face Value and the agent takes up an arrangement with the creditor - the costs are not to be added on at the consumers expense!

    5) Ask them what their Lawful/ Legal Authority for this is and who permitted them to do this action which goes against the principle of "debt recovery" where costs are not to be levied onto the debtee.

    6) Also speak to ZZPS and ask them on what authority do they have to "instruct" solicitors with this case? Its not ZZPS disputed parking charge - even if it was a genuine "debt" which Parking Charges are Not (they are speculative invoices) at best.  Ask ZZPS on what Authority do they have to pass your details onto dirty "solicitors" firms like QDR/ Wright&Hassell?!? I would report ZZPS to the Information Commissioners O for giving your details away.

REPORT THEM TO SOLICTORS REGULATION AUTHORITY if you receive anything from them and do not engage. Send a Subject Access Request ASAP as they will delete your details very quickly.

If you think that a solicitor has acted in an unprofessional manner complain here.

    https://www.sra.org.uk/consumers/problems/report-solicitor/

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • QDR are basically the threadworm of the legal world. They scavenge from the leftovers of ZZPS which in itself is saying something! Right at the bottom of the food chain in amongst the waste. You can smell the vile stink of their desperation with the tone, language, threats, misinformation and lies in their letters!

QDR on Trustpilot ... 100% BAD
    https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/qdrsolicitors.com

ZZPS on Trustpilot ....  .91% BAD..
    https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/zzps.co.uk

And both are members of the BPA ....... . ??    How disgusting and shameful

And YES report QDR to the SRA  and I would suggest a copy to Mr O'Brien MP to demonsttate to need to bring in the code much faster and to stop these junk letters
