Yes, why not tell them you've read the new Code of Practice which puts an end to this sort of predatory ticketing in unmarked areas, as well as banning the false 'debt recovery' costs they were no doubt planning to slap on top at the first opportunity.

Tell them you expect the charge to be cancelled and you have complained to your MP and the landowner client because this 'clamper mentality' conduct must end.

And do so (the complaints).

Due to the new statutory Code, most MPs should be minded to lend weight to a complaint about a rogue PPC (this is YOUR local MP, not the one for that location constituency).

Hi they have declined my appeal and now I have to pay the full amount not the reduced £60. Can someone please help I haven’t replied yet:

Any future correspondence in relation to your PCN will be deemed as an appeal.

Only if a judge in court tells you to.  As thiss invariably a scam, that is very unlikely   Have you complained to your MP?

PoPLA is alternative dispute resolution. In effect, next stage appeal ( unless the PPC that you are involved with are IPC members)

Thank you. Shall I complain to my mp first or write back to them first? Not sure if my mp will help as I was distressed I did park outside the bay and now I’m worried I’ll have to pay £40 more. Some people have wrote they take you to court and send debt collectors and this will affect my credit score.

You only have to pay if a judge tells you to.  Up to that point you owe them nothing .  You credir score is entirely safe unless a jydge finds against you and you then refuse to pay.
