People can be economical with the truth. No shortage of liars in this world.go-on-then said:Nipped in bought petrol DRIVEN AWAY then gone back after class.
Plain English and easy to understand.
Unlike parking signs.
An uncomfortable fact for many when on a crusade.
And the contenders for the biggest liars in the parking world are 1- PPCs, 2- debt collectors, 3- motorists, and the award goes to: PPC's and debt collectors joint first.

" If you can't pop into a convenience store twice within a short period, that kind of contradicts their very purpose."
And of course if POFA not applicable there could be more than one driver over the two visits.4 -
Cannot you return in a different car/? Cannot a different driver return in the same car?.
Defending a claim under contra preferentem should confuse them. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
They are not using it to park their cars during their classes - they don't need to, there is huge parking at the venue. It just beggars belief that a petrol station would penalise people who want to shop there. People have been fined for being on site longer than 30 minutes because they have been queuing to use the car wash and now being fined for returning within 4 hours if they want to grab a pint of milk on the way home.4

So why are they giving this petrol station their custom?? I would be voting with my feet (as it were), as I frequently dokyg said:They are not using it to park their cars during their classes - they don't need to, there is huge parking at the venue. Exactly...correspondence to M&S will be on its way to let them know this will be affecting their business.The_Slithy_Tove said:
Is the garage aware of how such a clause will deter customers from shopping there? These things are convenience stores, as well a petrol stations. Why would this be a sensible parking solution for a company who wants customers?3 -
Convenience - it in a built up area, it's on their way, they are not driving out of their way to get what they need. But they most certainly will be voting with their wallets from now on.2

Queuing to use, (and using), a car wash is not parking; and nor is filling up with Petrol.kyg said:They are not using it to park their cars during their classes - they don't need to, there is huge parking at the venue. Sadly MET Parking see it otherwise and many people will pay up rather than fight. It's £100 or £60 if you pay up quickly, so a nice little earner. This is happening in many garages all over the UK.2

We know and hopefully more people will realise they can appeal and win, when the new single appeals service comes in.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
