I'm so sorry to hear that @zaxdog I hope you get some good news soon.
I had an email from uber eats for £15 off a £25 grocery shop order. I managed to pick some items from my shopping list thag weren't too inflated in price, so that, once the delivery cost and bagging fees were added on, it's still working out cheaper than where I was going to buy them from. Those items would've totalled £15.04 elsewhere, with the uber eats offer they will be £11.92 and I'm getting a free pack of pringles thrown in as well 😉
I know it's not much, but it all helps. I have a £10 morrisons voucher to use to get my shop for this week even lower 👍February wins: Theatre tickets9 -

I’m finding YS bargains much harder to come by these days. Since Asda (my nearest supermarket) have taken the bbf dates off the veg there’s very little of that now. And they stopped doing the reductions to 10p for everything except bread. They do reduce the meat on the evening, but it’s use by the next day, so it’s only reduced by half and talking to the lady putting it out they are throwing stuff away rather than reducing it further.Tesco the same – the time I used to go and get cheap veg the rack is now empty I think because they’re putting it on OLIO instead. Meat tends to be any reduced by half. And Morrisons has always been very variable. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.10 -
ETA - sorry to hear about Mr Z’s mum. Hope she’s going to be okay. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Local charity shop had a kilo sale yesterday £5 for a kilo of clothing. Managed to get 11 items for £10. All but 2 were for DD lol. She is very happy, as 3 items were minecraft (including a fleece onesie, perfect for winter). All washed (and now dried)February wins: Theatre tickets8

@zaxdog, home the MIL is improving@elsien Same here, YS in Tesco are just not worth it , no more then pennies off. Girl on the checkout says it all goes to the staff for free now if not sold. Still I did get some cracking bargains in there this week - none edible but all useful. Was walking down the DIY/Car aisle, they dont stock a lot, but I was looking at the shelves thinking they were very empty, then noticed the tickets all had the dashes about them - yep they are stopping selling the range so everything reduced to clear. Got a lot of car cleaning stuff like real chamois for £2, back to black for 50p and best of all - Gorilla glue for pennies - all types. Spent a tenner and got around £60 worth of productAnnoyed with myself as went to home bargains and forgot to look for the tomatoes !!!11

They sound like good bargains Longwalker, I wonder if my Tesco is kicking their car stuff out too…I'm unsure about my spine, I think it's holding me back.7

Thanks all for the good wishes. She seems to be stable for the moment and is having a full body scan on Monday.
We ran a few raffle tables at the village fete yesterday which was great fun although I did make a rather pointed second hone owner comment to woman who turned out to be one of them lol
Aloo Palak made from the Morrisons TGTG bag. First one from them and I was very impressed. For £3.09 we got:
3 x prepared fruit
Lettuce
Spinach
Protein noodles
Tomato & cheese pasta pot
Chunk of Stilton
Sliced roast pork
Think I'm still missing a few bits but that's what I remember off the top of my head.7 -
I've just done my grocery order for delivery on Tuesday and nearly fainted at the total - almost 2/3 of the monthly budget and there's still a lot of month left.
I crossed off 7 items but it hasn't reduced the cost by much - everything else is needed! Tbf, some of it is to re-stock the freezer and there'll be a fair few batch cooking sessions so it's probably hopefully not as bad as it sounds. Even so, I'll have to watch the pennies very carefully for the rest of the month if I want to stay in budget. I've done a list of meals I can make from existing stores and will be soup making and baking too, so that should help. Just need to be mindful of energy costs!
Be kind to others and to yourself too.10
