I noticed that the range had some balls of wool reduced to 25p online last night, should anyone need any. I expect they aren't real wool, but if anyone is on a tight budget looking for wool, def worth a look.

Re the grilled cheese sandwiches: we make them with real cheese, and we add a few slivers of mozzarella. The rest of the mozzarella and its liquid are kept in a small lock-n-lock in the fridge, for the next sandwich, or hm pizza, or ovendish with cheese topping, or tomato basil salad.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.596

Good morning guys
I started to gather the ingredients for chilli done in the slow cooker. I’ve run out of tinned tomatoes 😱😱😱 Never mind the prepper in me will just use more beans and a carton of passata.
Next weeks shop has some added now, problem solved.
Small world problems I know but if I ventured out to get some I would just come back with tomatoes ( and probably lots of other things)
Apart from that all the admin bit done and sent back for my new job so fingers crossed the police check comes back quickly so I can start soon. It’s rainy and miserable today so I’m going to make use of my time list making, for sprout day. Finishing off some knitted stuff and mending DHs throw, and maybe a bit of housework. Ho hum, what an exciting day 😂

Oh how frustrating! I have the 'in stock only' filter on and they all show up, but you're quite right, if I try to add to basket it then tells me they are out of stock! Grrrr.February wins: Theatre tickets4

Yes, I have that filter too. But clearly it doesn't work!euronorris said:Oh how frustrating! I have the 'in stock only' filter on and they all show up, but you're quite right, if I try to add to basket it then tells me they are out of stock! Grrrr.
Funnily enough (not that funny!) I'm awaiting a delivery by DHL of a Range parcel- hanging around and it looks as if the wretched thing is still at the depot 25 miles away- it's been there since 8pm last night. So, same old hanging around manana....Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Still tired today after walking the carnival route on Sunday with Salvation Army.
We live just round the corner from SA hall and last night someone had left 2 black sacks of donations outside. Mr F brought them here for safety - I was asked to sort through the bags - so yuck! People just dump rubbish on us and we have to pay to have it removed.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I did a stint in a Dr. B*n*rdo shop pre covid. We all used gloves to sort out donations just in case. I don't know what you get in Florenceem but we used to get some very odd and sometimes very dirty stuff. Not all of it but some. It was the used undies that I didn't like touching even with gloves on. Being very squeamish, I used some old laundry tongs so that I didn't have to touch it. Things like that went for ragging so the charity got something for it.5

A litterpicker would also work if you can't find laundry tongs.

One of the SA volunteers found out of date opened food in with a bag of clothes and toys donation - saves folk filling their bin or a trip to the tip. Don't get me wrong - we get some great donations but also rubbish.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
