Fitness/Smartwatch recommendations

Last year I got my first smartwatch, the Huawei GT2e and I do love it, but it's missing a few features I'd like.

Can anyone recommend a watch that has the following:

  • automatically calculates total calories burnt throughout the day
  • automatically tracks things like walks, runs or cycling and syncs to Strava
  • connects to a Polar H7 heart rate monitor for more accurate measurement
Also needs the following features that the GT2e has:

  • round face
  • not too big and chunky - should look as much like a traditional watch as possible
  • good battery life - the GT2e is almost 2 weeks
  • GPS
  • sleep tracking, V02 Max, phone notifications, find my phone, silent alarm etc I'm presuming are pretty standard
  • Health/fitness features are my priority over other general features

Thanks

I’ve the Garmin Fenix 6 which does these, and I’m very happy with it.

The 7 has just come out, so there may be some bargains on the 6 at the moment.

I, too, recommend the Garmin range.  Both my wife and I are on our second and find them reliable, functional, desirable and easy to use.  Certainly preferred compared to the Fitbit we had first.

I currently have the Vivoactive 3.  It definitely does most of what you asked for.  It probably does it all, but there are a couple of items mentioned (Strava and Polar H7) that I have never tried or looked to do.  They would need to be checked on the specification.

I've had the Garmin vivoactive 3 for 3 years and very happy with it, it does do everything you ask for but I don't feel it does this feature that well
    • automatically tracks things like walks, runs or cycling and syncs to Strava
that may be because I mainly run trails so if I stop for a couple of minutes breather it will assume I'm done! that may happen on all watches though :)

I have the Fenix 6X Pro. Brilliant watch. I have had the forerunner before this which also may suit.
Stay away from Fitbit. Dreadful watches in my opinion.
