Broadband deals

In April, the price I have been getting for my broadband will go up as the discounts I have been given come to their end date. I am with virgin media and have got good deals with them in the past due to bargaining or leaving the company and then being called back with a better deal.
I wanted to know, if this time I am unable to get a good enough deal, can I cancel and get my husband to sign up as a new customer to get introductory deals which are better. Of course the address and last name on his account would be the same as mine, but the first name, contact and direct debit details would be different. Legally am I able to do this to get a better price?
