They are now taking £1.30 fee when withdrawing funds from airtime rewards. This isn't advertised in the app, website, or listed in the terms and conditions. Seems to have only started happening in the last week.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -

No, phone contracts are unscathed for now. The fee is for withdrawals elsewhere.Slinky said:DarkConvict said:They are now taking £1.30 fee when withdrawing funds from airtime rewards. They’ve also stopped awarding stamps (monthly challenge) for gift card purchases. Something they hid in their terms and conditions without making any email or app notification about.

Take a look at the everup app. Much better rates on giftcard purchases than Airtime offer.Make £2025 in 2025

I got the email informing of this change yesterday, 4 November 2025.DarkConvict said:They are now taking £1.30 fee when withdrawing funds from airtime rewards. This isn't advertised in the app, website, or listed in the terms and conditions. Seems to have only started happening in the last week.
Hardly the 14 days notice of change required in accordance with their terms.
As my Network Provider is not covered by AR, I have no alternative but to have it to card, so this is pointless for me now, added to the dramatic drop in cashback rates against certain gift cards.0 -

If you haven't already got it, have a look at the Everup app. They do good rates for giftcards. I'm using them much more now in preference to AR and Topcashback.Make £2025 in 2025

How do you update Airtime if you change networks (but keep the same number)? Has anyone done this? How will it work if I set up a new SIM with Lebara and port my number from O2? (Yes, I am dumping O2 after the additional price hike announcement! Thanks Martin for the advice on this.)0
