Vodafone Fibre - any good?

All my communications have been acurate regarding delivery etc.....they got my contract price wrong on the contract but claim that it will be OK when it goes live

When you say Fibre, do you mean Full Fibre, as in FTTP? With Vodafone, they tend to call it their "Gigafast Broadband", with BT it's "Ultrafast Full Fibre". 

Some broadband providers may call FTTC as "Superfast Fibre" when it isn't the same thing as Full Fibre. 

As for Vodafone, if you are able to get FTTP (Gigafast) in your area, then it will probably be great. It's hit and miss though as to whether people can get it. A look on their own forums shows how several existing customers are baffled why other ISPs show their address as "Fibre ready", yet Vodafone's own website checker doesn't show the corresponding product. Their customer serviced is probably the same as BT/Plusnet/TalkTalk - which is to say, not very good. So if things go well, it's fine, but if you have a problem, then it's going to be a pain to talk to them on the phone. I think Cuckoo and Shell Energy at the moment seem like a better deal right now.
