I've got a few updates.
£34.67 on cat food that should last just over a month, and litter.
£9.87 in asda on 4 litres of fizzy drink, 15 eggs (YS), vegan wellington (YS), chicken chow mein ready meal (YS), curry ready meal (YS), crabless croquettes (YS), apple and cheese snack (YS), croutons, sushi (YS), 2 pastries (YS) and balsamic glaze.
£15.82 in aldi on 2 litres of fizzy drink, 1 litre of juice, 2 bottles of shower gel, hand soap, butter, 4 pack of beans, 12 cereal bars, smoked cheddar, cup shot pasta, pancetta, dry noodles, dry macaroni, 500g spaghetti, garlic bread baguette, beansprouts, 2 baking potatoes and mushrooms.
Meal plan:
1. Crabless croquettes followed by smoked cheddar macaroni cheese (Quorn bacon in mine, pancetta and mushrooms in OH's)
2. Sesame and soy noodles with beansprouts (and mushrooms for OH)
3. Jacket potatoes, beans and cheese
4. Spaghetti carbonara with garlic bread (mine with Quorn bacon, OH's with pancetta)
Then we're on holiday from Friday
I will need to get some drink to take with us, but will take that out of next month's budget as that starts on the 25th.
We might possibly need a bit of milk before Friday also, so I won't declare yet.

£17.21 spent since last post in Mr S. £4.50 of that was on 3 tubes of toothpaste as it was on offer so not sad at all.

OH spent £24.28 in Lidl, and I had an Iceland delivery of £44.25. This means I have just £32.28 left of this month's budget. No more big shops until March, just some fresh bits!

No money spent, but I nearly called in for the coop £5 deal using what's on my membership card, on the way back from grandma duties but resisted, I'm not sure why. I think it was a matter of 'I might really, really need that card later in the year when I haven't got any money'!! Or perhaps I can't be bothered to stop and I'll have beans on toast instead. Well, whatever the reason I didn't stop so I still have an emergency few pounds.
Quite proud of myself really, it would have been so easy not that long ago.

£1.54 spent since last post in Mr S last night as we forgot a couple items so OH went in not long before close. He picked up the items and also managed to pick up some very good reductions also. OH was rather smug with 2 packs of egg custard tarts for 10p a pack. He loves them but doesn't get to have them as a treat often so seeing them that cheap he snapped them up.
£75.53/£150.

Been shopping and spent about £30 but need to check YNAB to see how much was from Grocery budget and how much from Bulk Fund! Still need to get some meat from the butchers tomorrow - this should come from the bulk fund but I know there isn't enough left in there this month so will need to come out of the Grocery Budget.
Will post back tomorrow with proper amounts!

Spends today on fruit box and milk and butter delivery. Not sure I needed the milk but felt guilty having the company deliver with only a £10 fruit box so added the butter which we did need and the milk to make up the order. Wasn’t very impressed with the date on the milk though but it’s gone in the freezer anyway.A small bottle of Baileys was bought last night to toast to my late mum on the 1st anniversary of her passing, however at a shocking £18 (can tell it’s not Christmas!) I think she’d have told me not to bother had she have been here! I had a very small glass with being pregnant but enjoyed it very much despite its price tag.At approx £20 left (still yet to do the maths) but already know we could manage without spending that this week.Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

MissRickiC - that was nice to toast your mum. Perhaps you can have another small glass to toast the new baby when they arrive.4

Half way through the month and at £58.02 total for groceries. Tried the Getir app where new customers get £8 off £13 spent, but fresh items available mostly expensive organic (less options for fresh budget) and so wouldn't use without the discount. Wasn't too happy with the quality of the grapes.
Do you have a separate Eating out budget or include it in your Grocery Challenge amount? Not sure whether to include in this monthly budget.
So far spent £20.49 eating out - Japanese, Indian and a pret crossaint (£1.85, when could get for 85p in Sainsburies).GC Feb 22 £58.02/£100
Eating out £20.494
