I'm so sad. The tractor noise was an engine bearing which for this car is terminal.
This sounds so stupid but this car was my security when DH died.
I could take the kids out and about and know we were safe and I didn't have to think.
So much fun with DD1 playing her tunes and us all chatting.
I have replaced it with a beater as what I can afford. I felt like that car was part of me.6 -
I understand the sadness, it is a link with DH that is gone, another bit of grieving. HugsMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
Thanks Watty. I think I've done the grieving all wrong. I distracted myself for nearly three years and now I am running out of distractions
Plus side though, looking at beaters yesterday and pitched up at a horse yard and met a mini shetland who gave me a nose high five! Same size as Babydog.5 -

Well I cleared out the old jalopy and got her ready to sell, took pics, listed et c
Being sent to hosp to have a "precautionary" check for colorectal cancer.
Discovered maggots under the fridge 🤢
DD1 broke Henry Hoover but at least she was cleaning!
Made £30 tutoring a dear lovely girl. Primary maths.
Hay baled today, have to go and stack it in a minute...4 -
