Just done all my logging and recording and noticed that my 33 mobile bill has increased from £28.06 per month to £48.75 for no apparent reason! I have logged a call with them and am waiting on a callback. Not impressed.

My annual Duolingo renewal has gone out at £59.99 so have updated my YNAB tracker in which I had £55 allocated for it. It is so refreshing and relaxing to know that you already have monies set aside for these things! ❤️

Couple of TTs done: 53p and £1.25 so the princely sum of £1.78 swept off to savings! 😊

    1 hour and 8 minutes later ….
It was down to me! 😳😢
When I was in the process of helping a new member of my team transfer from the US to the UK I had texted him a few times, at 83p per text! Thank goodness he is over here and settled now!!

    Lesson learned for me!

EofEness was very kind and credited half of what I had been charged extra which they didn’t really need to do - it was my fault after all. I suspect that is because when we first started talking about it, they told me that the texts had been sent to Morocco - I know no-one there and that freaked me out as it made me think I had been hacked in some way!

Restorative ginger and pine nut cookies currently in the oven ….! 😂 they have spread massively but am sure will taste okay 😉

Main crop spuds are in! And that bed has been throughly weeded. Still sooooo much more to do in the veggie patch through.
Mowed and trimmed all the bed edgings. Way easier than how I was doing it before but I need to set a routine of trying to do this weekly or at least fortnightly - some of it was pretty shaggy today. Looks loads better 😊
Ginger and pine cookies are edible if a bit flat! I think my mix was too wet, but that will come with more practice 😊
Two loads of Mr KK’s washing done and mostly dried on the line - so humid here  though that they are now on the heated airer.

Found myself massively craving crisps this afternoon, for the first time in ten days. I have had some salted nuts but I think it is the texture I am craving …. I will try some very thin rice biscuits to see if they do the trick.
    Nearly 9K steps today 💪😊👏

I think we are getting very close to agreeing to shut down the wood burner and starting to turn the living room! Squee! 😊

The first time we went to the states we got caught out, as a family member insisted on calling DH on his mobile and we ended up with a bill for around £100 - only found out after we returned to the UK that we were getting charged for the US side of the call.  I get charged for the odd picture message now and then 45p, and also accidentally called an MFA number the other day - I think it was classed as international so was about £2 - its slightly annoying (but not as annoying as that first £100).

I've just been charged over £8 by O2 for using my mobile in Turkey, however I was in Greece the whole time. Tried to complain and was told that at one point the nearest tower was across the sea in Turkey, so no refund for me.

I have survived the week! Yikes it’s been a rough one work wise. All getting horribly political and melodramatic on the management team, which is not helpful and draining. TRE is helping me stay out / above it slightly, be objective about it.

Mostly had an NSD week though went out for an amazing greek meal on Thursday night with my team, partly to build the team but also to celebrate the youngest member finally completing his qualification! That cost me £77! 😳 Won’t be doing *that* too often! 😉😂 It was worth it though, for the chilled out pleasure of it and learning a bit about Greek food which I want to eat more of.

I have financial updates to do this weekend and I think I have a couple of small OPs I will be able to make but I will update that later when I am certain.

This weekend the plan is primarily gardening, gardening and more gardening with as little chore-ing as I can get away with! 😂 The sequence will need to be along the lines of:
    - clear border of doom and other areas for planting (last night’s rain will have helped that)
    - plant out hardy ornamentals that are in greenhouse - put dahlias together on small trays so I can carry them in and out of greenhouse daily for hardening off
    - the small tray of lettuces; plant at the top of the garden in the gap in the bed next to the shed where they will be shaded from late afternoon sun - apply slug protection
    - once greenhouse is empty, clean it so it’s no longer green!
    - plant tomatoes and peppers from conservatory in greenhouse!
    - clear weeds from under runner bean supports - plant first germinated runner beans and protect from slugs
    - water and feed all pots and ornamental bedlets either side of front door that are in a rain shadow
    - collapse and chill on sofa

Oh and mow and trim the ornamental bed edges again so they don’t get away as it makes such a difference to the garden 😊❤️ Bindweed bashing is a default activity whenever seen!
