    Totally get what you are saying here, but I am finding is bringing that clarity of every penny is how hard it is to earn a £5 a week on Qm33! That is really making me focus in on every penny! 😉😂
    Ooh, yes! I can see that thinking "Hmmm, it would take me 4 hours to earn this back in surveys" would be a motivator not to spend 🤣!

    Interesting on the present....are you shaking it in trepidation, or just eyeing it cautiously from the other side of the room 🤔😳?

    I'm not sure I'd be able to keep a wrapped present in my house for two days. Any clue what it might be?

    @South_coast - I am eyeing cautiously / trying to ignore it! 😳😂

    @Merlin’s_Beard - my husband is very strict with me about such things! 😂 I *may*, possibly, have form for opening Christmas presents on Christmas Eve …. <ahem> Oh and it’s small, jewellery box sized. The sad things is, if whatever it is is good I will never wear it as I only wear silver (long standing prejudice  against gold 🤷‍♀️😉).
    Btw, this may sound a little odd, but it’s lovely to see someone else with a large mortgage number! 😉

    I'd open it earlier so that I had a good chance of finding something to (good) to say when saying thanks.

    Definitely not weird, I've been actively seeking out diaries with a similar number to me to follow to reassure me that I'm not mad for taking it on and it is doable!
