What a day! But with lots more positive outcomes than negative. As @beanielou says, having a break will definitely do you good, especially after the funeral and being with/there for your cousin and her family.
Glad Mr KK's dad is better than expected, and you never know, Sunday might be enjoyable once you get there! Is there the possibility of Mr KK staying over there so he can make the most of family time and old pictures while you can get home and feel more ready for the week without feeling like you're being mean?

Thanks @beanielou and @PennysIntoPounds.
No, zero chance of Mr KK staying over. When his sister moved out, Mr KK moved into her room and they made his old room an upstairs bathroom (doubling the size of the still tiny kitchen) and when he moved out and in with me they got rid of the bedroom and turned it into a crafting office space. Mr KK was quite shocked by the alacrity of how that happened! 😉
If I am overwhelmed I will bring him back here, drop him off and then go and sit on a big hill near here - assuming it’s not too wet.KKAs at 15.07.25:

Very good of your boss. In difficult (for us) times support can come from unexpected quarters and so nice to read the boss was supportive.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thanks @Watty1 😊
Madly busy, intense, back-to-back meetings day …! Just about kept all plates spinning at horizontal, there was laughter, mild banter and some positive feedback going out and coming in 😊
Referral fee for someone I used to work with who I recommended for a role where I am now landed in my pay packet today! Lost 40% of it but an extra, unexpected £600 is very welcome 🤗 That will offset the £212 for my new battery tomorrow and the funeral costs that I’m going to incur (I’m including ‘bribery and corruption’ presents for my cousins two young sons - dinosaurs and building things all the way apparently 😉).This evening I discovered that the nicotiana I sowed at the weekend have germinated ❤️🌱

I have told Mr KK that if it doesn’t, it’s game over and ‘new’ car time. I can’t have a car that I can’t drive safely on motorways!Bizarrely, tomorrow’s battery supplier rang me today to ask if I could come in for 8.30am instead of 9am tomorrow. Tbh, it doesn’t make much odds to me on a Saturday as I leave the house at 6.30am on work days so 8am sounds quite civilised to me! 😉😂 He sounded so glum when he asked and when I said “sure, no problem” you could literally hear him break into a smile and relax into relief. No idea why 🤷♀️😊
