Relatively quiet day here. Good thing really - I was sooo tired last night that instead of moving my alarm one hour forward to 6.30am I pulled it back one hour to 4.30am! Then couldnβt get back to sleep β¦ Β π³π’ Day at home in lieu of travelling for work on Sunday. Had to take a work call with a global guru - really hard to get hold of them and it was genuinely useful, though it has become obvious from said call, that there is global βwinging itβ on a new strategy that the site based people (i.e. me!) have to lasso, bring down to earth and make work! π Β My work laptop has lost WiFi, yet again π (keeps defaulting to airplane mode - last time it did this it needed a serious software upgrade β¦ <sigh>) so I totally gave up on some of the other tasks I might have attempted today π€·ββοΈ
FINALLY did the dyeing of the old jeans β¦. (Whisper β¦ they donβt look much different π I will have a proper look tomorrow once they are dry, in daylight).ΒTook out my Β£100 pocket money which will now have to last me to Christmas.ΒTook out out a further Β£100 cash to βbuyβ 110 euros from Mr KK - he had loads left over from his last trip to France in the spring because the place they rented had such a big damage waiver - that Β£cash will now go towards the next firewood delivery he wants to get delivered before Christmas.ΒPopped into a local gift shop and found a small present for my mum and a joke washing up brush for both my parents. π Car refuelled ready for the trip to airport.Β
Done various small household chores and started my washing for packing, ready to leave Sunday morning (I so donβt want to go ππ’)
Mr KK has been painting coving on one side of the room tonight - itβs really starting to look better and he has PROMISED ME faithfully that we will have curtains back up by end of play tomorrowβ¦.!! π€
My one contribution today has been to empty a bookcase and move all the contents to another room. Certainly helped my step count! π
Second section of coving behind sofas / emptied bookcase and new wall light install happens tomorrow too β€οΈ Really feels like we might *finally* be in the finishing straits β¦. Mr KK is hopeful that the majority will be finished next weekend! Six months, less one week, after we started β¦.

I will be doing some gardening pottering, seed sorting, art things and reading. Mr KK will be pottering in the garage if itβs warm enough - if not he has a couple of Airfix models that need finishing! π
