Suffolk_lass said:Ooh veg seed order - just to say I have used lots of mainstream people for years but last year I changed to Kings Seeds
They are relatively local to us and sell in both domestic and commercial quantities (so be careful if you look) - very impressed with the service, seeds and produce. I did get some in a garden centre and thought to myself, I wonder if they sell direct - well they do and good value too
It's the King's Seeds catalogue I am planning to order from, so thank you for that reinforcementMy very serious gardening friend recommended them to me last year.

Hope I have managed to update my signature, I will see shortly I guess
Decluttered some more items - the biggest, horriblest one being a wild rose that was growing through what should be a wedding cake type hydrangea, but it's really struggling. I've cut the rose stems back to an inch or two, but I can't lift the roots as it is growing from underneath the hydrangea. Nasty thing gave me lots of scratches including one on my head that bled!
Tried to do the car registering thingy-whatsit, but it didn't recognise my log-in so I have sent in an error message.
I've also finished the day's washing (3 loads), cleaned the bathroom and downstairs loo, wrangled a Tesco's delivery and relocated and cleaned up a large clump of alpine type strawberry plantsTesco's delivery man was very complimentary about my veggie patch .... I laughed ... until he told me about the allotment he took on last November that hasn't been cultivated for over a decade!
We walked down to the veggie patch and had a chat on how he could tackle his. Mildly surreal but kinda sweet
Wood burner is now lit and waiting for Hubby to come home (he's been working today) so I can cook dinner etc. Not a bad day but I have a banging headache with my sinuses atm ...

Re signature I have. You go to the top right profile pic and choose Profile, edit profile from the mini drop down. Then choose signature settings, from the bar on the left, edit it and make sure you save - on a phone, try doing it landscape or bits of the screen are missing.
Ah kindred spirits re gardening. I always subscribe to the growing your own thread under green fingers on here. I'll find a link and pop back to edit

Hi @Suffolk_lass
and thanks for the link to 'Growing your own' - now bookmarked!
I tried all that but the system didn't change what was shown. Might it be because I tired to include emojis?

2nd attempt at signature update ....
- Got my seeds order in! Only thing I couldn't order was Kalettes ... would like to track some down somewhere ...
- Lifted, cleaned and replanted lots of strawberry plants where they will be easier to keep weed free and get more sun. Bagged up c. 8 for a colleague in work
- Hubby installed my Christmas present in the front door - 2 panes of painted glass that my artist friend did as a surprise commission on instruction from hubby - it looks lovely
- One from yesterday - tried roasting some baby spuds in the oven with one of the million frozen portions of the 'breakfast mince' that I can't bear to eat at breakfast - and it was pleasurably edible - Result!
Right, time to make my lunch and breakfast for eating in work tomorrow and a brew before lolling on the sofa ready for another insanely busy week!
