I was helping out at a Cats Protection sale about 20 years back and spotted a small Oxford English dictionary. Well being a bit pre spell check I thought it would be handy for work and at 10p it was perfectly priced. When I got it home I discovered that there was a photo tucked inside. Under C for Cat there was a photo of a beautiful puss. No name, no idea of who the lovely beast was or who it belonged to. Still have the dictionary and the photo even though I no longer need to refer to it.
