Thank you so much! I’m nearly getting to my debt free day! Thank you, seems like Euro was super desperate for someone who was fully flexible with hours and happy to drive the vans if needed etc. they also said they wanted to hire a female as there’s a lot of males there and things can get heatedscrimpandsave said:Wow, just wow. You’re just fabulous. I haven’t checked in for a few months and in complete awe. Just shows what hard work can do for you and of course discipline. So very happy for you. As for euro car parts, always go there, husband likes to butcher his own car and they have always been super helpful. Getting those sort of hours is like a golden unicorn in retail for sure so big applause for that too.As for keeping a hand in with sainsburys, could be worth it for the discount to be honest. I quit a rival supermarket in Jan and they asked me to keep one evening a week, like you though, I knew that meant and a whole load of overtime on top 😬 but part of me wishes I had because I miss the discount and it’s a way to get extra money.
I’ve met them three times now and they’re all really nice and easy to get along with!
yes agreed, currently it’s 10% and five days after payday it’s 15% even better around Christmas as our sainsburys has Argos in so I can do some shopping in there also!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Been offline for a few days so I am just catching up, you're doing fantastically well! Great hours for your new job and it's great that they are all so nice.
I am very jealous of your '5 payments left'
I wish I only had 5 to go! I will get there... just a bit later

Oh wow - look at you go! Great news on the job front - although personally I'd suggest getting to grips with the new main role before looking at adding Sainsbury's back into the mix as well - don't underestimate how stressful changing jobs can be, will you - regardless of how lovely everyone is there will still be a lot to learn/adjust to!
Delighted for you on the debt front too - see, we said that a bit of a pause in overpaying might make them anxious to make you a sensible offer, didn't we! Well done for holding your nerve!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Oh yes agreed! I'm going to start my new job in a less than two weeks and then think about Sainsburys. I've been given my work rota I'm 8.30 until 3.30 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday I'm 8am until 4pm so not bad. They've given me 48 hour's over time as i'm only contracted 25 hours week so it's basically the same wage as i'm currently on!EssexHebridean said:Oh wow - look at you go! also, yep! I questioned them and asked "what's your percentage you're willing to offer me with" they came straight back with 50%!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Afternoon all! So OH surprised me today, we’re getting another dog, a French bulldog puppy! We’ve been talking about getting one for a while and with my hours changing in my new job it means I can be home a lot earlier than I currently am and it’s gives Django a friend. His name is Rupert and he’s ready in two weeks!
