Time to start a Fresh part 2, 2022!

Morning all, 

This month I have two things to look forward too

Tattoo on 26th August 
Leaving my job September 2nd

The count down is on and I can’t wait for both!
Not really sure what to post about today, weather is a bit rainy but at least my plants get some extra water. Working until 5PM then I plan to have a nice bubble whilst OH makes dinner!

@BlueJ94 - Congratulations on the new job. Good luck with all of that. Your debt-free day draws ever closer - a final push, no money-wasting & you'll be there. I don't think you'll ever run up debts again. You are clearly a hard worker & I think going forward, you'll save for any bigger purchases. It's a fabulous feeling (I remember it well!) when that final instalment of debt is paid & your money becomes your own - no more having to spend it on stuff you bought so long ago, you can barely remember what any of it was.

@foxgloves I can’t wait! All my money will be MINE it will be nice to have a fresh start, new job and no debt or nearly no debt!

Well done on getting them to give you the correct figure (finally!) Do you have a debt free date planned or if there's no interest are you just going to clear it slowly?  I'm still 421 days from my DFD and I can't wait   It's been a bloody slog!

Woohoo go you!! That’s amazing well done! 

Well if I pay £50 constantly it’s going to take 3 years but I want it gone sooner so I plan on saving some money for myself and some for debt and bulk pay when I feel like it, hope they offer a settlement.

118 came back to me this morning offering 50% off my debt £895 I can either pay within 14 days or pay in instalments. I’m so happy right now! I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

Thank you! I’m so happy, I’ve set up an instalment plan with them and within 5 months it should be cleared! So nice clean slate ready for 2023!

in other news, I’m going to have a nice relaxing bubble bath with some wine and I treated myself to some new pyjamas and I’m going to change the bed sheets! Nothing better than new pyjamas and fresh bed sheets!

Morning all,

So went to euro car parts etc and they seem really nice and super duper chilled out. Ordered my uniform and sorted out my shifts. So I’m basically full time, Monday to Friday 8.30 until 4.30 and every other Saturday 8am until 4pm.

I’m having to wait around now until 1pm to go into work so I’m going to go into town and get a coffee and maybe pop into a clothing shop.
