Chronomics at £19 a piece will suffice, no need to pay any more than that.
No need to pay that much either, Simply Test Me are £12 including First Class Postage.
Will make a note of that and read the reviews.
The code came through straight away. When they changed to the PCR Day 2 in December, Simply Test Me offered to refund/exchange my LFTs for a PCR (plus the difference obviously) so I have no complaints about them. I opted to keep them as I reckoned the rules would change back before long (they did!).

Do you care about the reviews given that you only need the code for your passenger locator form and dont have to isolate until the results any more?
    Thats a fair point actually.

I'm all for rewarding companies that give good service and normally will pay a bit extra in the hope of getting it but you cannot get any more distressed commoditised purchase than these tests given the new rules and so price alone is king

Some of the other post answer part the question I had, so you can't just do a LTF yourself and report the result... Forgive my ignorance not travelled last couple of years..
So you have to book at a pharmacy or somewhere like that to get a LTF done for when you get back and they report the result to the government automatically or do you still have to report it on the NHS app?
A couple of days before you travel back to the UK you have to fill in a government form online called a passenger locator form. Without that form you can't travel home.

Part of that form asks for a test reference number. That number can only be obtained by paying for a test in advance from one of the dozens of "government approved" private testing companies that have sprung up.

i.e. The traveller themselves do the reporting via the passenger locator form.
The traveller does not do the reporting of the test through the PLF, that is filled out up to 3 days before the test is taken.

Yes I meant the reporting of the fact that a test has been done - not the results of it. As you say, the results are reported (or not) from the person taking the test to the testing conmpany to the government.

That was my reasoning too. They were the cheapest I could find in the U.K. at the time. I haven’t searched properly but I think they still are.
