I think they are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They know what I've said is true and considering I am management they cant not do anything. Just might not be what I'm hoping for.

One more item from Vinted sold..£4.99. Gonna overhaul this in a few days. Re-do images and post more.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".2 -

Morning All.
Nowt much to report my end really. Cycling last week x 3 days near wiped me out. I was wrecked yesterday so did nothing.
OT on Friday just gone so..
6 days of work where I stand for 7+ hours,
5 days of heavy heavy gym work (aiming for a 100KG squat this coming Friday) and
3 days of cycling..
SO TIRED TODAY!
£50 food budget at £24.54 or thereabouts. I have it written down to the letter so I know exactly where I am.
No feedback on potential pay rise - hopefully to be resolved this week. I do not have high hopes and will probably be told "budgets don't allow for increase in wages" or some such rubbish. I have challenged them on this before and won so we shall see what happens next.
Savings up to £3800. Will actually see £4k this week. Madness.
Contemplating filling sink funds with the £6k I hope to have by the end of the year. To include essential things and non essential things in 2023..........as this money saving goal has to be realistic and right now long-term. And somethings I don't budget for I just hope for the best when they arise -t his is not good - even a bottle of cheap foundation comes out of my food budget.
So far I have 9-10 sink funds thought of... not sure on logistics just yet.
@duesouthtwin2 will be in my neck of the woods on Sunday - almost as good if not better than me at the money saving. So we shall be having a lot of money conversations / skill swapping ideas / and tea. Nothing better than having someone on the same wave length and focus as you. We both want to figure out proper sink funds that are realistic, tighten up on food budgets and such like and think of ways to create passive income/side hustles. Cannot wait!!!
One more item sold on Vinted. £4.99. Going to re-move the items that have been there from the beginning - just a few cheap items - and re-picture/structure how they appear. They are obviously not appealing as they are so I need to try a new strategy and maybe sell/pair them with another item. Looking forward to whittling down everything I don't need and potentially starting a new cleaner more streamlined wardrobe for my impending 40's in April 2023...#gag
Found an app called Ziffit via another money-saver on Instagram - scanned a few unwanted books and managed to earn £9.45 before I left the house this morning at 7am. Will try for more this evening until I have £20 and send them off. All of this has to go towards my tooth in 4 weeks... Not that I am counting...Aggggghhhhhhhh!
Peace out brother and sister savers!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Okay just applied for and have been granted a new First Direct account - will be switching over and hopefully earning £175 plus £20 for using the online banking option. Heard good thins about this lot as well!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".3 -

So... another £9.99 on Vinted last night.
Ziffitt parcel is being picked up by DPD. Made it to £17.15 with my books.
An easy £27.04 made last night.
Will be waiting for it to "go through" and be accepted before adding the money to my pots.
That would take the dentist fund up to £397.01.
£52.99 to go.
Oh... and £170 for car tax...... 2 weeks after the dentist.
Epic.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".2 -
While not in the usual vein of money saving, would 6 months tax, then 12 months give you breathing space to separate it from other bills?
You're doing well on sales and saving.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
This is definitely an option. I'll check and see if there is anything to be saved by doing it all up front for the year or 6 month stints. Thank you for that. Didn't even cross my mind..“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
