I only list what I put in the freezer and what I take out and what I'm going to be making with them.

I am still here - everything went manic in work and I have been doing 40+ hour weeks when normally I do just a few hours so everything feels like it has gone out the window or is just out f control. Luckily things should now be getting back to a little bit more normal.
I'll have a look today at the freezer, cupboards and do an up to date meal plan today and try to get things back on track

Out. Had a win today as I used the homemade bread and carrot soup from yesterday for lunch (there's plenty of each frozen for lunches this week as well) and we had pancakes galore for tea using flour and eggs from stores.
In. DD has bought reduced price beef and lamb mince (1.5kg altogether) for £1.80 this evening and we will freeze it immediately she gets home. That money will come off the grocery budget for next week.
Am enjoying this so far but let's see what happens when I get to the haricot beans! With family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

Out: 2x sandwich sized batons, last of the hm pulled pork for brunch sandwiches. Yesterday: spaghetti, poached chicken breast. Both dishes added some Olio mixed salad, stirfried. That's a tip for someone: if salad looks dreary and wilted, it goes great stirfried into an omelette, pasta or thrown into a soup.

Got a question: if i want to freeze a mirapoix mix (onion, celery, carrot) do i need to blanch all of it first? It's good for the soul to walk with your soles on the soil.4 -
Thanks @joedenise. It's just i tend not to have celery, neither I nor the guinea pigs are fans, so if i want to make a quick soup or something with whatever i got leftover, am always missing the celery. Think enough for a few portions to only keep for a couple of months is a good idea. Thanks! It's good for the soul to walk with your soles on the soil.3

Carinjo, I've got frozen mirepoix mix in the freezer which I didn't blanch and it seems fine a few months later.6
