Re the new law that came into place on 1st Jan that existing customers must be able to have the same deals as new customers.
Does this apply to broadband deals?
My contract expires 13th Jan and have been offered a new contract of £28 per month, new customers can get same broadband contract for £23 per month with a £90 voucher.
Where do I stand here?

"EE and Plusnet have also now joined BT, Sky and TalkTalk in agreeing to give all existing customers access to the same prices and packages as new customers"

Thanks for the replies, will now try and negotiate new contract.
I only heard a fleeting news item re this, thought it was over all contracts.

I've just had the discussion with BT who weren't interested in giving me the deal that new customers get - the cheeky sods also added another £5 to what I was already paying as my contract is ending, so I'm moving over to Vodafone next week and saving around £300 a year.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0

I am currently a customer of VM and pay £66 pm I went online yesterday and found that I could get a voice activated remote upgrade. I filled in all the relevant information and received a confirmation that I could get it at no extra cost. Then I received an email saying that some info was missing and to contact them. I rang today and they have told me I should not have been able to have this offer, and said I could have it for £2 more than I already pay. This is with £19 discount, I asked if they could not do a better deal, they said no, despite me being with them for 20 years +, I have the order. I told them I was going to contact OFCOM and said they would put me on the offers list🤔, below is the order and I was going to have Collectplus delivery. I was also told I was out of contract, not happy with their excuses.0
