Is the house you are buying located in Runcorn, Cheshire by any chance?0 -
When I viewed my house did not realise the box room did not have radiator so fitted one.
Not expensive but was annoyed I did not spot this.0 -

But what does the survey actually say about the heating? Or insulation?Laurelii said:

If you can do the work yourself, or know someone who is reasonably handy, you'd be looking at about a hundred quid for a new panel radiator and the copper piping / sundries you need. If you are going to have to pay a professional, then you are looking at an hourly rate of about 40 - 70 quid depending which part of the country you are in and then materials ontop, so you could probably triple that amount.Laurelii said:

The above assumes the floor is lifted and accessible. If you need a professional to also come in and take back the carpet, lift floorboards, cut holes in joists etc then it is probably a bit of a how long is a piece of string question.0
