We have been so lucky, saw them last night too while in port at Tromso, did the husky sledding yesterday which was beautiful and then the Arctic cathedral for a recital late last night. Luckily saw dolphins and whales this morning while on the pool deck which is covered, it’s too cold to go on top deck for any length of time really and I was waiting a couple of hours.Spending wise, I cancelled the northern lights trip we were doing tomorrow as they are bright every night so far, £30 penalty charge and £285 refunded, which I now need as I left the kids a card for food shopping 😂 they are probably just shopping like normal people rather than cheapskates like I am but it’s been £150 so far, hopefully that’s it now!We also spent £26 on a dinner in a paying restaurant as we ditched black tie in the dining room (free) to see the lights and then the buffet was shut, other than that it’s just coffees (one or two a day in Costa as you get free cake 😬) and alcohol for dh with a total spend of about £155 I think , so £100 odd really which is brilliant, we used to do not far off that on a day when I drank as he would then join me 😂 we also have the soft drinks package that I added before we went at £9.85 a day each , large coke is £3.50 so it’s worth it.Sorry if I’m waffling 😊MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁6

Your trip sounds incredible, I'm very jealous! Honestly, it really doesn't sound like you have spent very much, I'm impressed.
Why do the kids have your card for food though? I thought they all worked!?2 -
Thanks vix and KP , it’s going well and very little extra spending, phew!Kp they are all working and all pay keep and I buy most of the food, usually I leave cash and so far they have never used it, this time is longer though at 12 nights so I thought I’d feed them all 😆MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2
