I Don't Remember Getting PCN

Good evening,
I have received a Claim Form for a PCN I received at Gala Bingo in Brighton in 2018. I know the car park, it is ANPR operated and I have certainly parked there in the past. I have signed the Acknowledgement of Service on MCOL so am getting my defence ready. My issue is that I cannot actually remember the incident, the signage situation or anything. What would people advise in this situation, that I defend it with the template defence and write section 2 and 3 as if I can remember or say 'I can't remember the situation but....'.
Many thanks and happy new year one and all.

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?
Upon what date did you file an Acknowledgment of Service?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.
Who is the Claimant? Highview?2 -
Read this and complain to your MP

To give bespoke advice, we need the claim issue date, and which PPC? Can't tell from Streetview.greenghost said:Good evening,

Afternoon all. The issue date is 13th December. It's Highview parking, they're using ANPR. I took a walk up to the car park today, they're still operating.2

Please tell us the AOS date asked by KeithP and confirm the location asked by parking mad1

Having filed an AoS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 17th January 2022 to file your Defence. That's nearly two weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.5 -
Here are some photos of the signs taken this evening

I couldn't see any pay machines or a tariff board, so perhaps you have to find out the prices using the JustPark app?3 -
@ParkingMad has been for a walk and generously got some photos. That helps us all! Thanks!
The OP will we hope, have read half a dozen Highview defences before showing us their draft and will know what to put in as their facts.
Were you at the Bingo? Authorised to park there or paid and displayed?
And we hope the answer to this Q will be 'yes I did':With a Claim Issue Date of 13th December, you had until 4pm today to file an Acknowledgment of Service.Did you manage to do that? For the moment I will assume you did.

Have you got a copy of the PCN, showing the alleged contravention? If not, you can email a Subject Access Request (SAR) to the data protection officer at Highview, to get a copy of the PCN and the ANPR photos of your vehicle.https://groupnexus.co.uk/privacy-policy
The SAR instructions are in the second post in the Newbies thread here:
