Hello Ladies,
Chanie, congratulations on your new job.
Liberty Lily, the room looks so wonderful, so colourful and inviting.4 -
Chanie - congrats on the new job. I was thinking it seems like you have had quite a few different jobs over the past few years.
Looks lovely Liberty Lily.
Sheila - that sounds really nice, very festive.
I just bought myself a black Zara jumper and an Aldo gold clutch bag for NYE from a chazzer. I would like a gold scarf to match, but I will obviously have to look after Christmas now.
I just bought myself a treat of two beers from a local vegan restaurant after seeing them advertise on Instagram. I'm having the carrot cake beer now. I'm almost finished it actually. It's 8%! Haha.
My husband is having a last minute trip to Aldi tonight. We don't need anything but if he sees anything nice to eat he will buy it for us. I'm looking forward to just relaxing the next few days.
Merry Christmas!:)4 -

@liberty_lily your room looks gorgeous and I love that soft green on the panelling.
I've succumbed to one of the various bugs going around, and feel a bit like Alan Rickman in the Robin Hood film - have cancelled Christmas here as I've got a very sore throat, chesty cough & aches.
Hope you all have a lovely break, and those of you with new / refreshed / renovated homes enjoy the extra space!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Hello Ladies,
Merry Christmas to you all and your families.
I am having the most relaxed Christmas Day at home with my son and daughter5 -
Merry Christmas Everyone. ❤️5

Our day was pleasantly relaxed too! As we only had ourselves to consider, we took the - unprecedented in our household - decision to cook our main meal when we felt like eating, rather than being constrained by tradition. So we eventually ate our Christmas dinner at 4pm 😉
Prior to that we got up late, shared a bottle of peach bellini, ate a few chocs/sweets and opened presents (less than normal as we'd decided to pare things right back) which included the stunning Matthew Williamson mirror for the cloakroom and lots of books 😊
Later we binge watched some episodes of Detectorists, played board games and at about 9pm had cold rare roast beef sandwiches with lots of horseradish 😋5
