@Wednesday2000 I think you have done remarkably well to relocate like you have done. Some of the delays weren’t your doing,  but it sounds like it has all worked out well in the end.  You definitely deserve a holiday, whatever you decide to do.

@sugarbaby125 your day does sound busy, but productive.  I love the way you combined your hospital appointment with organising a nice Groupon dinner for you and your children. That’s what I call great planning.

my children go back to school next week and it will be good to get back to normality.  I just need to get their school shoes, which I’m going to do this week.  Normally, I’m much more organised than this and would have had everything sorted by now.

  • Hello Ladies,

I lost another pound in weight this week. 13 pounds lost so far. 2 stones 1 pound to go  :)

I had to laugh @Wednesday2000. At first glance I thought you wanted a passport to go to Wales! 🤣 I hope you enjoy your trip when it comes.

Yes, I do but it depends how you want to spend the time. I like museums and galleries and the national museum is excellent. I've never got round to visiting the castle but, from photos, it's quite quirky. I've been to Castell Coch which was the country home of the same family so know the style. The bay area is attractive and nice walks along the waterfront. You'd have to check out vegan restaurants as that's not my thing but there are plenty so I'm sure you'd be catered for. Certainly a city worth a visit. 😊

Well done on your weightloss @sugarbaby125. 🤞for a stone off (or more) next week.

Cool, thanks. I was going to obviously check out the bay area and then hopefully the castle at least. :)

  • I bought some autumn decor. I want to get some orange or red blankets too. I'm going to look around the chazzers later.

@Wednesday2000 I really like your autumn decorations as well, the pumpkins are really cute. I think autumn decorating is quite popular in America, or maybe it’s just popular with influencers.

@sugarbaby125 thanks for the sneakypeak about your play, I’ve been itching to ask you about it, but didn’t want to do so until you’d made a decent start.

@maman like you, I’m also checking our winter clothing to see what we have and what we may need.

Last winter, I managed to not turn the heating on until after 2pm (so the house was warm when the children got home from school) and managed with my dressing gown and hot water bottle.  I’m going to try and avoid turning the heating on until as late as possible, if I can, as it will just be me working from home during the day.
