  • Can I join please?
have actually been doing this, but backwards :D and have just made my payments up to and including 26th April (I pay in advance on pay day) so I currently have £356.70 stashed in an online account.
I do it backwards as even though January is a tight month, November and December are actually worse in terms of spending, although the frivolity usually masks that...

#2 checking in - Now paid up to April... March was a lean month for freelancing shifts, and made worse by the fact the other freelancing writing gig was halted because the new broom coming in just doesn't want my stuff covered anymore. So Operation Age of Austerity is in full effect for the next couple of months although the scheduler in my other gig told me I would have loads of shifts in May.

So happy I have got myself up to date.

Hi @outoftheviciouscircle any chance I can join this challenge? :)

Not sure how to make up for the lost time (and savings!) but might try and do some turbo months over the summer

Just transferred £20 into my dedicated pot to kick this off, looking forward to seeing it grow!

Hi all, I'm currently manually transferring the daily amount from my everyday spending account to my saving account (I use Starling).

Has anyone got a better way of doing this? I know I'll end up forgetting or getting the numbers wrong at some point!

    Thanks!

Each pay day I pay ahead for the month so it’s done with. I find it easier that way.
