    Yes, same here. The texts wouldn't come through, then eventually it said that phone verification has failed and it didn't even attempt to send any more.

    I submitted a ticked and have been asked to verify via a company called Withpersona, not yet decided whether I'm going to.
    @Abakkus - Hi there! If you decide(d) to do the ID check, would you be kind enough to post here about how it goes/went? I'm in the same position, unsure whether or not to do it, partly because I'm not clear on what is involved. I posted on this thread on 18 Dec 2023 to ask if anyone here had gone through the Withpersona process, but sadly haven't had any responses, so I for one would be really grateful if you could share your experience if you go/went ahead with it. Many thanks!

    I’ve done it, very quick and easy to do and Swagbucks fixed the problem later same day. 

    It was just a picture of my driving licence then a picture of myself.

    Did it a while ago when I was blocked at my first payout request. Used my passport and it was 2-3 days or so and it was all approved and paid. Not had any issues ever since.

    I looked online to try to glean some details (before I posted here), and read some accounts by people saying that they had to submit a video (not just a selfie) of themselves. That put me off somewhat!

    I'm still hesitant about the whole thing, partly because the only ID I can provide is my passport, which I'm not comfortable submitting to this third-party company. On top of that, I'm concerned that my continued use of Swagbucks (or perhaps one specific activity) is what is responsible for the massive upsurge in spam mail I'm receiving (used to be around 5 per day max, shot up to about 30 per day since the middle of last month - and I can't bulk delete them until I've checked for legitimate emails tucked away amongst them). I only earn enough SB (from Search, Daily Swag Code, and Daily Poll - nothing else) to redeem for a £5 voucher every couple of months, so with that and the junk mail (even discounting the sixfold increase), part of me is wondering whether it's worth it.

    Anyway, that's just me thinking aloud; I know that the decision is mine alone to make.

    I forgot to say in my previous post (although I did mention it in my 18/12/23 post) that I can't help but find the 'security' justification for Swagbucks requesting verification to be somewhat disingenuous. I have redeemed SB for vouchers before now, but after they introduced the Withpersona process (about a couple of years ago, I believe, but please correct me if I'm wrong). If security were the main reason for IDV, then surely I (and others) would have been asked to submit ID when the process was first introduced - or, if not then, then certainly when attempting my first redemption after its introduction.

    But, then, many aspects of Swagbucks (including the process of finding the 'correct' route to submit an enquiry to customer services) strike me as a bit 'Does not compute'!

    I have been using Swagbucks for many years - ever since it was a really good little earner - and I have no spam mail which I can in any way attribute to Swagbucks.
  • Never had spam from SB directly - that will only happen when they go under and sell their userbase information to squeeze the final bit of juice from them. You might be getting an upsurge in spam if you've used the same email address for anything you do on SB that is through a third party website, for example using it for any offers in the Discovery section. I have a completely separate email address I use for those and yes it is an absolute mess of junk and daily spam.

    Mr Survey in Wannads offered me 16SB rather than 17SB, and said they were sending an e-mail to my e-mail address and I had to click on a link to confirm.  No e-mail has arrived, so no SB for me!
